Introspective Scrapping

When Scrapbooking meets Journaling

Monk Psych and John Smith

What would happen if they got snowed in on a mountain together. John Smith has to touch people to pick up psychic vibes. Mr. Monk hates being touched. And the guy from Psyche just like to mess with people so he would probably sneeze on Mr. Monk’s Grilled Cheese sandwich on purpose. I bet inside of 24 hours, Mr. Monk would look like Jack Nicholson in the Shining and John Smith would have his can inserted in an indiscrete place. The guy from Psych would probably be using his photographic memory to remember where the caretaker left his keys.

Queen Elizabeth II

I have noticed that Elizabeth has to ride in open horse drawn carriages pretty often.  When the showed her on t.v. at Jamestown in a carriage, it suddenly occurred to me that she has to be thinking, “I’m old and I’m the bleeding Queen, I should be able to ride in something with air conditioning. I shouldn’t be downwind from a horses’ ass.”

VEGIE TALES ARE RUINING OUR KIDS

IF AN ASPARAGUS TELLS YOU TO EAT YOUR ASPARAGUS ISN’T THAT PROMOTING CANNIBALISM?

WISDOM AND FOOLISHNESS-ALBERT EINSTEIN

Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools.

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction.

Before God we are equally wise - and equally foolish.

Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former.

The difference between what the most and the least learned people know is inexpressibly trivial in relation to that which is unknown.

BRAVERY

The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it. –THUCYDIDES

TOP REASONS TO JOURNAL

We live in a moment of history where change is so speeded up that we begin to see the present only when it is already disappearing.

_R.D. LANG

Each time a person stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, these ripples build a current that sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistence.

My Profound Thought for Today

ERMA BOMBECK ONCE SAID I have a theory about the human mind. A brain is a lot like a computer. It will only take so many facts, and then it will go into overload and blow up.
IF THIS IS TRUE, MY MIND IS FULL OF RANDOM BITS OF KNOWLEDGE THAT BADLY NEED TO BE DEFRAGMENTED. WANDA L THACKER

Sucess, Inspiration Reality Check Quotes

Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.

Inquisitiveness and strength make me want to rise above my valley-bound brothers. I must reach the summit to see the truth.
